RentBuySales (referred to as "RBS", "we", "us", or "our") is a Ghanaian marketplace platform operating at rentbuysales.com. We connect customers with verified service providers across four service categories: real estate (buy, sell, and rent), house construction and renovation, vehicle rental, and handymen tool rental.
RentBuySales operates both within Ghana and serves the Ghanaian diaspora abroad — particularly clients based in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and other parts of the world who require property, construction, or rental services in Ghana.
By accessing our website or using any of our services, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy.
RentBuySales provides the following services through its platform:
a) Real Estate — Listing, advertising, and facilitating the rental, sale, and leasing of residential, commercial, and industrial properties across Ghana.
b) House Construction & Renovation — Project management, new construction, and renovation services for clients, particularly those based abroad, with signed agreements and structured deposit systems.
c) Car Rental — Short-term and long-term vehicle hire with or without a driver, for airport transfers, city trips, and extended use within Ghana.
d) Handymen Tools Rental — Daily rental of power tools, ladders, generators, concrete mixers, and other site equipment from our depots across Ghana.
RentBuySales acts as an intermediary between property owners, service providers, and customers. We are not a party to the underlying transaction between a buyer and seller, landlord and tenant, or vehicle/tool owner and renter, unless explicitly stated in a signed agreement.
To use our platform and submit listings or inquiries, you must:
a) Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence.
b) Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
c) Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when submitting listings, inquiries, or quote requests.
d) Not be prohibited from using our services under any applicable law.
By submitting a listing or inquiry, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements above. RentBuySales reserves the right to refuse service to any user at our sole discretion.
Users who submit property, vehicle, or tool listings through our platform agree to the following:
a) Accuracy — All listing details, including price, location, condition, availability, and photographs, must be accurate and not misleading.
b) Ownership / Authority — You confirm that you are the owner of the listed item or have been duly authorised by the owner to list it.
c) Review Process — All submitted listings are reviewed by the RentBuySales team before being published. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing that does not comply with our standards or these Terms.
d) No Fraudulent Listings — Submitting false, duplicate, or fraudulent listings is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent removal from the platform and, where applicable, referral to the appropriate authorities.
e) Content Rights — By submitting photos and descriptions, you grant RentBuySales a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content on our platform for the purpose of advertising your listing.
When you submit an inquiry or booking request through our platform:
a) You authorise RentBuySales to contact you by email, phone, or WhatsApp using the details you provide.
b) An inquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. Confirmation is provided only after direct communication and, where applicable, payment of a deposit or signing of an agreement.
c) For vehicle and tool rentals, availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking. RentBuySales cannot guarantee availability until a booking is formally confirmed in writing.
d) You are responsible for providing accurate contact and scheduling details. RentBuySales accepts no liability for delays or missed bookings caused by inaccurate information provided by you.
Our construction and renovation service is designed specifically for diaspora clients and all other customers requiring project management and on-the-ground execution in Ghana. The following terms apply to all construction engagements:
a) Signed Agreement — No construction or renovation work commences without a written agreement signed by both RentBuySales and the client, outlining the scope of work, cost, payment schedule, and project timeline.
b) Deposit Structure — Payment is structured in stages aligned with project milestones, as specified in the signed agreement. The full project cost is never collected upfront.
c) Progress Updates — RentBuySales will provide photo and/or video updates at agreed milestones throughout the project. The format and frequency of updates are detailed in the signed agreement.
d) Variations — Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing by both parties and may result in additional cost and/or timeline adjustments.
e) Client Responsibilities — The client is responsible for ensuring that land and property used for construction is legally owned or leased, and that all required permits are in place prior to commencement. RentBuySales may assist in obtaining permits at the client's request.
f) Force Majeure — RentBuySales shall not be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, government action, or supply chain disruptions.
a) RentBuySales stores and quotes its base listing prices in Ghana Cedis (GH₵). Where the website displays another currency, that amount is an indicative convenience conversion. Any agreed foreign-currency payment is subject to the applicable exchange rate at the time of payment.
b) For vehicle and tool rentals, a refundable security deposit may be required. The deposit amount is stated on each listing. Deposits are returned in full upon safe return of the vehicle or tool in the same condition as rented, subject to inspection.
c) Deposits for construction and renovation projects are non-refundable once work has commenced on the relevant milestone, except where RentBuySales fails to deliver the agreed work.
d) Payments may be made by bank transfer, mobile money (MTN Momo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money), or other methods agreed at the time of booking. Receipt of payment will be confirmed in writing.
e) RentBuySales is not responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transfer delays incurred by the customer.
Vehicle & Tool Rentals
a) Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the confirmed rental start date will receive a full refund of any advance payment, less any processing fees.
b) Cancellations made within 48 hours of the confirmed rental start date may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the rental value.
c) No-shows on the confirmed rental date will forfeit any advance payment made.
Real Estate
d) Refund terms for property transactions are governed by the specific agreement signed between the parties and applicable Ghanaian property law.
Construction & Renovation
e) Cancellations before work commences on a milestone: the deposit for that milestone is refunded in full.
f) Cancellations after work has commenced on a milestone: RentBuySales retains a fair proportion of the milestone payment corresponding to work completed, and the remainder is refunded to the client.
g) In the event of a dispute regarding a refund, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before pursuing legal action.
All users of the RentBuySales platform agree not to:
a) Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or inquiries.
b) Use the platform to harass, threaten, or defraud other users or RentBuySales staff.
c) Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of our platform or its content without express written permission from RentBuySales.
d) Attempt to circumvent our platform by engaging directly with a listing owner or service provider introduced through RentBuySales in order to avoid paying any agreed fees.
e) Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, illegal, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate suspension from the platform and, where appropriate, legal action.
All content on the RentBuySales website — including but not limited to the RBS logo, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of RentBuySales and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. Listings submitted by users remain the intellectual property of the submitting user; however, by submitting content you grant RentBuySales a licence to display and promote that content as described in Section 4(e).
a) RentBuySales makes reasonable efforts to verify listings and service providers but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or third-party information on the platform.
b) RentBuySales is not responsible for the condition of any property, vehicle, or tool beyond what is expressly covered in a signed agreement with us.
c) Our platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
d) RentBuySales does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website and accepts no liability for technical failures, downtime, or data loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentBuySales, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to RentBuySales in connection with the specific service giving rise to the claim, in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
For clients based outside Ghana, RentBuySales and the client agree to first attempt resolution of any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to mediation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
RentBuySales reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of our platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically. For significant changes, we may notify users by email or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
